Ancient Chinese Confirms the Truth of the Bible

This video is an excellent primer for the ancient Chinese picture language. There has to be some reason that the Chinese are 1/5 of the world’s population and thier language and culture has lasted for so many millenia. Could it be because they honored the God of Creation and worshipped Him? I think you could make a good argument for that position.

God has made himself known in every language and culture. The farther back in the culture you can go the more clearly you see Him. The knowledge of God has degraded over time for most of human civilization. The best source of information about Him is through those who have gaurded His Word. As Paul says:

… the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. -Romans 3:2

One Chinese general remarked that he was not inclined to believe the Bible, but that his own language betrayed him! I do not know Chinese but many of them are very excited about what they are finding in thier own culture.

One Response to Ancient Chinese Confirms the Truth of the Bible

  1. There is a second part of this sermon that was given the next week and is listed as part 2. It is less about the language and more about the faith of the ancient Chinese people a single diety “Shang Di”. Worth a look anyway. The part about banning missionaries in China was very eye opening.
